Taffy is our Shetland Pony mascot. He was born in 1996 and has been with us since 2000. Taffy performs in both the Musical Ride and Cadfarch. He is good natured and friendly and is a highly popular attraction wherever we go. Taffy is also available on his own for events where he and the Pony Major can ‘meet and greet’ or visitors and guests can be photographed with him. He is a big favourite with our younger audience and is often surrounded by children brushing and stroking him at events. When he’s not performing with Welsh Horse Taffy can often be seen entertaining people out and about in Wales where he is a much-loved street entertainer. He even has his own Facebook page!
