Our Musical Ride is a fast moving and colourful display of horsemanship, performed by the Clydesdale Drum Horse, Shetland Pony Mascot and six to eight troop horses. The performance lasts about 20 minutes, involves formation riding sequences at the walk, trot and canter and is based on the British Army musical ride written in 1908. The thrilling climax to the display is a spectacular charge across the arena by the troop horses.
